Creative Media. Production. Social Success.

Videographer, Editor, Producer, Copy-Writer, Internal Communicator and Social guru who is dedicated to visualizing a brand’s purposeful mission-driven work. I do this through producing and hand selecting content that shows dynamic, real and diverse communities of people. As a manager, I seek to engage teams to think outside the box and to take the best route to succeed in our common goals.

Production

As a one-person producer or while working collaboratively with partners, clients and other stakeholders, my productions have driven quality mission-centered results. Between long and short form content, I strive to tell raw, true stories that motivate and inspire.

End to End Storytelling

Contracted SpangTV (local production agency) and produced two 30-second commercials for the YMCA OF GREATER RICHMOND. Worked directly with Director to acquire talent, reserve locations, and communicate needs with YMCA staff.

Safety Around Water Campaign

In 2025, I planned and organized digital assets for the inaugural Safety Around Water Week, which provided 1,400 free swim lessons to kids. I developed the social campaign plan for all social administrators (90 staff). Out of 320 posts across our pages, we saw a 7% engagement rate on social and estimate about $100,000 worth of earned media coverage due to in-house assets. It set the stage for future signature events.

Thriving Staff Initiative

I got the opportunity to develop the imagery for our internal re-brand. This video was shot and edited for an event featuring 300 staff and was the first introduction to the new staff brand. This video was a turning point for encouraging high energy, diverse imagery, and inclusive language.

Healthy Kids Day- Richmond Kickers

The YMCA partnered with the Richmond Kickers and over 30 community partners to host a nationally recognized event to promote healthy living. I was on the committee to plan and execute the event as well as take video for this 3-hour event.

BassPros/National WildLife Federation/YMCA Outdoor Event

Event manager, videographer and editor for BassPros, National Wildlife Federation, and YMCA summer partnership to provide free access to outdoor education. Over 800 people attended because of organic Facebook posting, email communication, and more! The recap was used by NWF to promote future events.

Thriving Staff- Board Initiative

For a core non-profit board initiative, leaders want to show how the Y helps individuals thrive. I researched, wrote, scheduled and produced this entire project as well as post-production.

Virtual Learning- Student Success Centers

During Covid, YMCA Student Success Centers offered virtual learning to families in need of the support. This video (all shot on an iPhone) brought in almost a million dollars worth of grants and government funding to support our communities and ultimately maintain the YMCA brand.

NASCAR Foundation- Kids Fun Day

NASCAR and the Y partnered to provide an accessible experience for students in the community, as well as provide a $15,000 check to the Y to promote health equity. I had the opportunity to work with NASCAR reps to document their experience.

L.L. Bean Day Camp - Thank you

Y-USA asked our association to create a short form video to say thank you to L.L. Bean for donating over $750,000 to YMCA’s across the nation. My role was to capture content at multiple locations, edit, provide copy for social, and ensure posting was on schedule.

Social Media

In my first year leading social media campaigns, I identified key content strategies that led to a 21.1% increase in average post engagement between 2022 and 2023. Video content views also increased by 108%.

I developed new processes and procedures, including training site Facebook administrators in social best practices. A new social calendar was developed to provide diversification in content between channels.
